What a replacement includes

Every estimate spells out the scope. A typical replacement includes:

  • Removing the old roofing down to the deck
  • Replacing damaged decking, priced per sheet on your estimate
  • Underlayment, plus ice and water barrier in leak-prone areas
  • New flashing, drip edge and vent boots
  • New shingles and ridge vent or caps
  • A magnetic sweep for nails and a full cleanup

Choosing materials

Most homes in our area have asphalt shingles. We explain the differences between shingle lines, colors and ventilation options, and what each one costs, so you can choose based on your budget and how long you plan to stay in the home.

On replacement day

We protect landscaping, cover what needs covering and keep your driveway clear when we can. The site is cleaned at the end of each day, and before we leave we walk the property with you.
